"THE BONIFACE COAT OF ARMS HEREBY ILLUSTRATED IS OFFICIALLY DOCUMENTED IN "RIETSTAP ARMORIAL GENERAL". THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ARMS IS AS FOLLOWS; D'AZUR A LA CROIX D'OR, CANT. DE QUATRE MOLETTES DU MEME. WHEN TRANSLATED THE BLAZON ALSO DESCRIBES THE ORIGINAL COLORS OF THE BONIFACE ARMS AS; BLUE; A GOLD CROSS; A GOLD FIVE-POINTED STAR IN EACH CANTON."
This was sent to me by my Great Uncle, George Boniface. He did not know how accurate it was but it was the only one he could find. If anyone can shed any light on this I would be most appreciative. Having read some on the subject of "Coat's Of Arms" I do know that most families did not recieve them. It has become quite a racket however, to send hopeful researchers a copy of their "general" family tree and their "Coat's Of Arms" for a fee!
This is a version of the Boniface Coat of Arms that was hand drawn several years ago, by my Uncle, Thomas Bennett, who is also a Boniface descendant. The source of information for the drawing is unknown.
